Domain name and website hosting costs in Nigeria are often bundled into one quote, which makes a low website price difficult to compare. They are three different things. The website is the design and code. The domain is the address people type, such as yourbusiness.com. Hosting is the service that keeps the website available online.
A domain should be registered in the business owner's name and account. That keeps renewal notices, recovery access, and transfer authority with the business rather than with an agency or former staff member. The final domain cost depends on the extension, registrar, availability, and renewal terms.
