Payments and refunds
Last updated: October 2026
1. How you pay for a website
Website packages are paid in two halves: a deposit when you order and the balance on delivery, before the website goes live in your name. You can pay the deposit online by card, bank transfer or USSD through Paystack, which handles the payment; FASS never sees your card details.
Quick fixes are paid in full before work starts. Custom builds are paid as set out in their signed Statement of Work, and this page does not replace it.
2. What happens after you pay the deposit
Within one working day we check your answers against the package you chose. If it fits, we confirm your start date and ask for your content.
If your needs go beyond the package, for example a booking system on a Launch website, we tell you exactly what is extra and what it costs before any work starts. If you agree, we send an invoice for the difference. If you do not, we refund your deposit in full.
3. Changing your mind
If you cancel before work starts, we refund your deposit in full.
Once work has started, the deposit is not refundable, because it pays for work already done. A domain registered in your name is yours to keep, so its registration fee is not refunded.
4. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card or account you paid from. We start a refund within two working days of agreeing it, and your bank usually shows it within 5 to 10 working days.
5. Moving up from Launch
If you move from a Launch website to a Business website within 6 months of your Launch website going live, the Launch website price you paid counts in full toward the Business price. You pay only the difference, half on ordering and half on delivery as usual.
The credit covers the website package price. Copywriting, domains, hosting and maintenance plans are separate and are not credited.
